Attend Pickle Paw event April 27 in City Park
Pickleball, Adopt A Day, food trucks and more. Save the date and join the Outdoor Recreation Program and Event Development, PMC 489, students for a day of recreation, meeting animals and community spirit.
Pickle Paw will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in City Park. The event, hosted in partnership with Manhattan Parks and Recreation and Prairie Paws, is a unique gathering which combines an exciting pickleball tournament with the opportunity to meet animals who are available for adoption.
Interested participants who would like to play in the pickleball tournament can register beforehand through the Manhattan Parks and Recreation webpage. Click on the "Special Events" tab. The entry fee is $14 per team — two players for each team — each player must be 16 years of age or older, and all participants are encouraged to bring their own paddle. Pickleballs will be provided.
