K-State internal mailing list form

An internal mailing list is good for when you need to email a selected audience of K-Staters frequently. On this form, you will select the audience and K-State ITS will ensure that the list is populated and updated with those who meet your criteria. This form must be filled out by a full-time K-State faculty/staff member who will serve as the Primary owner and will be responsible for the list. This mailing list is only set up for K-State colleges, departments, and other academic or administrative units.

If you only need to email a selected audience once, a K-State e-note may be more cost effective than an internal fee-based mailing list. Purchasing approval must be given before the mailing list is created.

Cost: (fee will be waived for academic projects)

Option 1: Auto-updated internal mailing list

  • Updated automatically, at least once a week
  • 12 months = $100 plus $.05/name (counted on the 20th day of classes)

Option 2: Basic internal mailing list

  • Updated at your request (to request updates to your list, please submit this form indicating that you already have a list and its name)
  • 12 months = $35 plus $.02/name any time the list is updated

Approximate processing time: 3 business days

Who can submit this form: K-State faculty and staff (non-student employees). Advisors must submit requests for student groups.

By submitting this form, you are requesting to be the primary and maintenance owner of this list. If you would like others to also have administrative access, list their names, eIDs and also if they should be a maintenance or quiet owner. You can add more owners after the list is created, if needed.

Maintenance and quiet owners: Both maintenance and quiet owners can owner can add and delete members, change the list setup options, and perform list-administration functions. However, only maintenance owners will receive e-mails when errors with the list occurs.
