The
H&H Ball will feature six fantastic Wizard Rock bands including:
The Remus Lupins, The
Moaning Myrtles, The
Parselmouths, Ministry
of Magic, Ginny
and the Heartbreakers, and The
Mudbloods.
All proceeds
from the concert will be donated to First Book, a nonprofit organization
that provides disadvantaged children with new books.
More

This wizard rock concert to raise funds for disaster relief in
Haiti featured The Whomping Willows and Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills.
Harry and the Potters' Paul DeGeorge will opened with his muggle band,
the daemons. Hooray!

Mock Caldecott mimicked the official Caldecott Medal process of
evaluating the best picture books of 2008. K-State children's literature professor and author Philip Nel and
author/illustrator Stephen Johnson joined us as special guests. Thanks!

The
H&H Ball featured seven fantastic Wizard Rock bands:

Moaning Myrtles, The
Parselmouths, Ministry
of Magic, The Whomping Willows, Gred and Forge, and The
Mudbloods.
We had nearly 240 attendees from K-State,
Manhattan, and as far away as Washington, Florida, and
California.
We raised $1,000 for First Book, a nonprofit organization that
provides disadvantaged children with new books.
