Beocat: K-State's Beowulf cluster

Beocat is a cluster in the CIS Department of the College of Engineering at Kansas State University. The project is overseen by Dr. Andresen and managed by Aaron Tygart. All systems are running Gentoo Linux with a 2.6 kernel . They are diskless, using PXE to boot to an NFS root. The cluster fileserver boasts 14TB of space for use in home directories and scratch.

We currently have 47 nodes totalling 364 processors and 976GB of ram. Check Systems List for more detailed information on the hardware.
