MUSEUM EXHIBITS

“4 Mollys: Women of the Dawn” Museum Exhibit (2001-2002): Curated this major exhibit based on my book Women of the Dawn for the Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor, Maine. The show ran from January-December 2002. (Reviewed in American Anthropologist 106(1) 161-64 (March 2004): “Interpreting Wabanaki Women’s History” by Marilyn Norcini).

"Our Lives in Our Hands" Museum Exhibit (1990-91):
Designed, gained funding for, coordinated this exhibit on Native American basketmakers and their work—which traveled, among other places, to the Anthropology Museum at the University of Pennsylvania, the Hudson Museum at the University of Maine, and the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum at Bowdoin College.
