  • Online Information Sessions for Prospective NRES Graduate Fellowship Applicants
    Students interesting in learning more abou the NRES Graduate Fellowships are encouraged to complete this survey to register for an online information session to be held before the April 19 application deadline. During these sessions, graduate students can ask questions about fellow responsibilities, eligibility, application materials and the nature of fellowship funds to be awarded.
  • Apply for Fall 2024 NRES Graduate Fellowships
    The NRES Secondary Major is accepting applications for the NRES Graduate Fellowship. The application deadline for fall 2024 fellows is April 19. Interested students should visit the NRES website for detailed application instructions and to review additional NRES fellow requirements.
  • NRES Awards Graduate Fellowships for Spring 2024
    Bijan Gurung, doctoral student in Horticulture and Natural Resources, and Aleah Querns, doctoral student in Biology, and Jeeban Panthi, postdoctoral researcher in Biological and Agricultural Engineering, have been awarded graduate fellowships for the spring 2024 semester by the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES) Secondary Major.
  • NRES Secondary Major Welcomes New Governing Board Members
    NRES welcomes Colby Moorberg (Agronomy), Ganga Hettiarachchi (Agronomy), Shawn Hutchinson (Geography and Geospatial Sciences), and Elizabeth Dodd (English) to its governing board. All faculty members will serve three-year terms beginning July 2023 and ending June 2026. Hutchinson was also re-elected by the board to continue as director.
