Employee Orientation Program

The Employee Orientation Program is designed to welcome and orient new faculty and staff members to Kansas State University. This program provides an opportunity:

1. acquaint you with the K-State vision and mission,
2. familiarize you with important policies and procedures,
3. clarify your rights and responsibilities, and
4. provide you information about benefits entitlements, pay, and university programs

Attendance of newly appointed classified staff at the Employee Orientation Program is mandated by university policy and state regulations. Unclassified appointees are expected and encouraged to attend as well.

Because children are a distraction to other attendees, please schedule your orientation session when you have appropriate child care.

When Eligible: Immediately upon appointment, but not later than 30 days after the appointment date.

Schedule of Employee Orientation Program: All orientation sessions are held at 103 Edwards Hall, unless otherwise noted. Orientation session dates are as follows:
