INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CENTER
The International Student Center provides a comfortable atmosphere where people wanting to increase their international perspective can find new friends. Made possible by a private gift, the center includes a multipurpose meeting room, dining room, kitchen, and reading lounge.

Students from everywhere pass through the center each day, sharing cultures, traditions, recipes, language lessons, and their common concern for what is happening in today's world. Everyone is welcome to join in the programs and activities of the International Student Center and the various international student organizations.

INTERNATIONAL COORDINATING COUNCIL
Kansas State University has nearly 1000 international students from about 100 countries on campus. More than 15 different international groups representing different regions of the world are member organizations of the International Coordinating Council (ICC).

ICC is the campus voice for international students and is formed by representatives from international groups on campus. ICC sponsors and co-sponsors different cultural and social programs. ICC organizes an annual Fall International Night and International Week each Spring. Money allocated by the Student Senate is distributed by ICC to the different international groups to help them plan and organize various activities.

LAFENE HEALTH CENTER
The Lafene Health Center is a modern ambulatory healthcare facility designed to provide for most student outpatient health needs. The health center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Students who have paid the health fee as a part of their tuition are eligible for care. Non-student spouses, university conference participants, and other campus visitors may receive care upon payment of a special fee.

Lafene Health Center provides, through a full complement of medical and other professional personnel, a range of services that include special clinics for sports-related injuries, women, and allergies and immunizations, as well as a clinic for general care. Also included are services in health education, nutrition, and physical therapy. The services of a pharmacy, laboratory, and x-ray are available at reduced rates.
