    Moving and Hauling

    Under the direction of Barb Elliott the Moving and Hauling shop is responsible for various assignments on and off campus.

    The Moving and Hauling shop consists of one supervisor, three full time employees and eighteen student workers. The student workers hours are arranged as to accommodate their class schedules.

    The Moving and Hauling shop daily tasks include the moving of various departments campus wide. This shop is responsible for various duties: some of which include setting up for special events, campus registration, graduation, concerts, repair of potholes on the campus streets, drives and ramps, installation of the window blinds throughout the campus, the complete carpet installation and removal process and labor support for various shops in the Facilities department. Moving and Hauling is also involved in the installation and removal of window air conditioners.
