What is K-Access?

The goal of K-Access is to assist instructors in making online content accessible to all students, including students with disabilities. As with architectural barriers in the 1970's, Universities are now being asked to comply with Federal and State regulations to ensure that online content is fully accessible. K-State has adopted a Course Accessibility Standards Policy to help strengthen our committment to providing an equitable education for all.

The issues surrounding accessible on-line content typically hinge on choices that instructors make and can often be resolved by the instructor in the design and development stage of a course. Making on-line content accessible can be quite simple. User friendly Quick Tips will help you get started.
