Dan Higgins receives Distinguished Graduate Faculty Member Award

 

 

Professor Dan Higgins has been selected by the Graduate School as a recipient of the 2013-14 Commerce Bank Distinguished Graduate Faculty Member Award.  Dan was recognized for his pioneering studies in Near-Field Scanning Optical Microscopy, for his extensive service to the American Chemical Society and several ACS journals, for his superb classroom instruction, and for his record of mentoring students to successful careers. Dan will receive the award at the December 2013 Graduate School commencement ceremony and he will present a lecture on his work to the K-State community in 2014. Congratulations, Dan!
