Welcome to ChALC!
ChALC is an organization for people who share a common interest in children's and adolescent literature. We participate in reading groups, organize a conference, host speakers in fields related to children's literature, etc.
In Fall 2006, the Kansas State Department of English added Children's Literature to their Master's program. That same semester, English graduate students founded Chalc to foster communication &interest in children's literature inside and outside of the English Dept.
