understand the mosquito innate immune system and its interactions with the malaria parasite using molecular, proteomic, and cell-biological tools. Ph.D. or equivalent in Entomology, Biology or Public Health is required. The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular vector biology and parasite-host interactions and a track record of publications. Experience in working with mosquitoes, standard biochemical, molecular and cell biological techniques is required. A background in microscopy methods, including confocal and fluorescence microscopy is preferred. The applicant should be motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work efficiently in a team as well as independently.
