Postdoctoral Research Associate at Kansas State University.  Ph.D. and strong background in ecology, environmental science, or related discipline with research experience in community analyses of food web interactions, including arthropods and vertebrates. Ability to work independently in performing fieldwork, designing experiments and solving problems required. Excellent analytical and organizational skills, ability to communicate well orally and in writing, and ability to work well with other scientists and students required.  Experience in use of stable isotopes in food web research desirable. Research will be performed primarily at Konza Prairie and surrounding field sites in tallgrass prairie of the flint hills (http://www.konza.ksu.edu, http://www.ksu.edu/konza/, and http://www.ksu.edu) to be compared with grasslands in New Mexico and Colorado. Opportunities for international grassland research may arise, and some extended travel may be required.
