Beginning Birdwatchers Walk

We conduct a regular monthly Beginning Birdwatcher's Walk on the second Saturday of EVERY MONTH. This field trip is open to all (members and non-members), and is a good way to learn about local birds, birding hotspots, and meet some local birders. Birders of every age are welcome to attend; children and beginning birders of all ages are particularly encouraged. We meet at 8 AM in the parking lot between Ackert and Durland Halls on the KSU Campus (map below), carpool to an appropriate spot depending on the season, and usually return to the parking lot between 10:30 AM and 11 AM.

• January 11, 2003
• February 8, 2003
• March 8, 2003
• April 12, 2003
• May 10, 2003 (also the day of the North American Migration Count)
• June 14, 2003
• July 12, 2003
• August 9, 2003
• And the second Saturday of every month, every year, regardless of weather, thereafter!
