B.A.
degree
The
B.A. degree, which requires up to 60 credits in art,
consists of three main parts:
1.
General education requirements of the university as
outlined under the humanities curriculum.
2.
A core of foundation courses in art including drawing,
design, photography and art history.
3.
Sixteen semester credits in a single studio concentration
area from among those listed under the visual arts at
K-State.

degree
With 78 credits in art, the B.F.A. degree is oriented toward a professional art career. Those seeking a career in teaching and creative research or as a professional artist or art therapist would choose the bachelor of fine arts degree program. Almost always, entry into a M.F.A. graduate degree program requires the B.F.A. undergraduate degree.
