Secondary Minor in American Ethnic Studies

Students completing fifteen (15) semester hours of course work in a minimum of two departments of the University may earn a secondary major in American Ethnic Studies. The course requirements are:

Introductory courses:

AMETH 160 Introduction to American Ethnic Studies. . . . . 3

ANTH 200/204 Introduction to Cultural Anthropology . . . . 3

 

3 American Ethnic Studies electives in category A as described in the catalog and AMETH handbook.

TOTAL Credits Required: 15

 

To graduate, a student must achieve a 2.0 GPA in all courses to satisfy the AMETH minor requirements.

The Director of the Program assists and advises secondary minors in planning appropriate schedules.
