Pre-College Enrollment
Eligible students currently in high school may take K-State courses for college credit with approval from a high school official and parent/guardian permission. Start by applying for admission.
Application Process
You will be asked for the following as part of the Pre-College Application process:
- Pre-College Enrollment Application (application fee waived)
- A list of desired college course(s) if known
- Approval form from your high school official — homeschooled students may use a guardian signature in place of a high school official

A copy of your high school transcript
- Approval form from your parent/guardian
Note: Counselor and guardian approval forms will be sent electronically via email once the Pre-College Enrollment Application has been submitted. Be sure to gather accurate emails before starting your application.
Pre-College Enrollment Definitions
- Concurrent Enrollment: Courses are taught at the high school. Both high school and college credit is awarded.

Dual Credit Enrollment: Courses are taught by K-State faculty on one of our campuses or online. Both high school and college credit is awarded.

Dual Enrollment: Courses are taught by K-State faculty on one of our campuses or online. College credit is awarded but high school credit is not guaranteed.
